What Our Campers Are Saying
We thank God for allowing us to work in this ministry and thank you for your comments.
“Out of all the random and fun parts of camp, to me, the most important part of camp are the bonds of godly friendship this camp creates. When people, campers and camp leaders alike, have reached out to me, I found myself opening up to other like-minded believers, and that has helped me grow in Christ by leaps and bounds. When fellow campers encourage me to memorize verses, enthusiastically worship or to discuss sermons or Bible studies, I’ve been able to connect not only with fellow Christians, but with Christ in a life-changing way that words can’t describe.”

Adventure Camp for Christ is a lot of fun. Camp teaches you more about the Lord and gives great standards to live by. Everyday you memorize a verse, and I can still recall those verses. Camp gives you a great week of hanging out with other christian teens.
My first year of camp (6th grade) I rededicated my life to Christ! I hadn’t been building my life around Christ, but fitting Him into my life. Now I live for Him everyday! I have a passion to please Him! I don’t think anyone should miss out on camp!”

As the parents of three teenagers that were given the privilege to attend the camp, we wanted to let you know that each of them came back from their stay here last year with a growing faith and an enhanced growth in the truthfulness of that faith. Each one was able to sense the reality of the claims of Christ rather than the business of Christianized activities. Our three teenagers came away from their stay at camp realizing their individual need of cultivating a personal relationship with Christ. We are so grateful for the opportunity our kids had and are being given again. | First let me share with you that Logan enjoyed and spent 2 hours straight telling us everything he learned at camp. Even with losing his voice he still had plenty of it left to share with us all the lessons, games and special things y’all did at camp this past week. My husband and I are speechless and cant wait for him to go next year so that he can come back home and we can watch as he overflows with joy after hanging out, studying, reading and just mere fellowship with like-minded kids his age with hearts after Christ. THANK YOU AND YOUR GREAT TEAM! GREAT JOB!!!!!!!! | |
Adventure Camp for Christ is a ton of fun! I enjoy it for time with my friends, for an opportunity to meet new people, and especially for the time I get to have with God. I feel right at home there because I’m so close to Him that I don’t even care what everyone else will think around me. It definitely charges me up for going out and witnessing to others!

Camp — A taste of heaven
What can I say? It was the best decision I ever made (Besides accepting Jesus as my Savior and Lord)……. This year was a lot different from past years. I relized that, camp isn’t about winning. Its about faith. Faith that you and your team mate’s can keep up with a flag, faith that they will say their verses, and faith that they will do their best at what ever game that weird game director makes up. It’s kind of like that with Christ. He wants us to have faith that He will always be there. No matter what. He wants us to have faith that He will never leave us or forsake us…… A lot of things can happen at camp. You can meet somebody Sunday and feel like you are brother’s/sister’s together in Christ by the end of the week. You could know somebody for two years and still feel like you never really knew them before you went to camp. You could go to camp thinking you had a great relationship with Christ and then feel like you did not have a “Best friend” relationship with Christ after you got to camp and you’re away from the distractions of the world. But, after you leave camp, you feel like you have that “Best friend” relationship with Christ, your friends, and your new friends. That is what its all about. Faith, Love, and Trust. Three simple things that can be easily broken by a human being, but never broken by my Best friend, Jesus Christ. “..Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” Hebrews 13:5

‘Something beautiful to touch me’
Well, I just got home and took a shower and got all clean, and I wanted to write this while it was fresh on my mind. Adventure Camp for Christ is happiness and a little glimpse of how Heaven might be like. You all have encouraged me so much for the past three years. The environment is one where I can be myself, rolling on the ground laughing, and where tears are not frowned upon. Its a place where you can cry in public and not be called an attention seeker. Its a place where you can cry and all your brothers and sisters can AND will come and comfort you. Its a place where you can see the Holy Spirit move and work in the lives of teenagers. Its a place where you go to worship the Lord and learn Bible verses and fellowship with people you’d spend eternity with. Its happiness on Earth. Even though we only see all of us together one week out of the year, we bond faster and stay close. No matter where our ‘race’ leads us, we can always look back at Adventure Camp for Christ and smile and laugh. God answered so many prayers and questions this week, without me asking him to. And he answered them through the words and actions of everyone at camp, gently reassuring me of His love and devotion to me. And through you all, I learned of my service to Him So, I just wanted to thank you all for a wonderful week. Please stay in touch and know that I will be praying for you, every time I think of you.
